A Short course on calibration is formulated to highlight its importance in industerial productivity by ensuring accurate, reliable and repeatable measurements. The course encompasses the calibration processes and different types of test equipment calibration i.e Electrical/Electronics, Mechanical and Optical Instruments.
Data Acquisition & Monitoring System is a Software / Hardware based intelligent system that provide state-of-art, efficient and cost-effective solutions for numerous industerial applications e.g. Food / Agriculture and Pharmaceuticals. We have over a decade of experience in design and development of microcontroller, FPGA's, Visual C/C++, Delphi and Python based embedded control schemes to find customized / optimal solutions to meet the industerial problems.
A short course is introduced to provide fundamental knowledge of Optical System design. In this course we will learn: how major components of an optical system i.e. lens, prisms, plain windows works individually and combined within an optical system, designing single lens and a complex optical system, parameters and aberrations effecting image quality and ways to improve as a component and system. Moreover, designing single and multilayer thin film coating to reduce unwanted surface reflections will also covered in short course.
The Short course is designed to cover optics manufacturing process using different tecgniques to convert glass material into optics of various shapes and sizes i.e. Flat Windows, Reflectors, Lenses, Beam Splitters and Reticle etc. These Optical components are widely used in different Astronomy, Defense & Aerospace Industry, Lasers system and Medical Instruments etc. Optics manfacturing initiated after design finalization / reverse engineering data. Basic process layout for optics manfacturing divided in to two main catagories namely cold and specialized processes. Cold processes includes glass cutting/slicing, sizing, grinding, polshing while specialized process involves cementing, engraving and thin film coating etc. Stage inspections at each manufacturing stage are vital to ensure minimum rework and rejection and same will be highlighted in the course.
